Benefit of Independent Locksmiths vs The National Chains

Why did I choose a different approach? Primarily I own my own company so standing is vital, as word of mouth has become the best and cheapest method of advertising.

Secondly I don’t need to pay for any’middle’ men! The customer in question had endured a mechanism onto a UPVC door similar to
that fitted in the UK on most homes. The door was unlocked, and only held by the latch in the center in place. The mechanism which
had failed’s part meant the door handle was not able to be operated, so that they were locked out. The locksmith from the federal
company who came advised that he had to enter through the front doorway, he did this using a method, which he then charged the
customer for. He advised the client of the charge to open and temporarily secure the rear door with four sash jammers (only two
would be needed ), which would cost £150 on top of the costs already incurred for damaging the door! At this point he was sent by
the client . My advice on this is to check to ensure should you get put through to a call centre that means they aren’t local, and
that you’re receiving a locksmith. If you would like to make certain you find the best service, pick a regional independent
locksmith! The client called a second opinion to try after getting over the shock. Over the phone I advised of problems and their
individual solutions and prices and attempted to know the situation. On arrival I evaluated the lock and quickly opened the door
with no harm , then replaced the faulty part and made alterations to the doorway to avert a recurrence. After attending a call
from someone who had recently used a national locksmith business, I felt compelled to inform any prospective clients why they
should just ever use an unaffiliated locksmith…
